Rio Tinto Alcan Inc. have recently procured a number of MULTITRANS DGA Units from Kelman Ltd for Installation in Iceland.  Rio Tinto Alcan Inc. is the world's largest Aluminium Company coupled with also being one of the biggest industrial companies in Iceland it is a Global leader in industry.  Kelman Ltd. will install the MULTITRANS units which can each monitor up to three transformers.

The MULTITRANS is one of a new generation of on-line DGA equipment giving essential insight into the condition of transformers. They have been specifically designed to accommodate large transformers with individual tanks per phase.

 Extensive field use has proved that TRANSFIX provides reliable information and represents an invaluable tool for Asset Management, and MULTITRANS uses the same technology to provide monitoring for three separate oil circuits.
